In the ancient Middle Eastern region, people worshiped Baal and Asherah. In those times, agriculture and animal husbandry were their main means of survival, and, as they were labour intensive, fertility was considered a family blessing. As a result, in their pursuit of prosperity, they created and served Asherah, a goddess of fertility, and Baal, the rain god. Jeroboam, to stop Israel from worshiping and sacrificing at Gods Temple in Jerusalem, and thus losing the kingdom of Israel back to Rehoboam, the king of Judah, made two golden calves and set them up in Bethel and Dan, telling the people "Here are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt." (1 Kings 12:28)
Jeroboam became a heretic by leading Israel away from God, and he, as well as Israel, suffered Gods retribution as a result of this heresy.
These days, too many Christians aren’t aware of the fact that they have become heretics by having followed Jeroboam, by the pursuit of material blessings under the cover of the name of Jesus Christ.
They are being mistakenly lead to believe that the greater their contributions to the upkeep of their churches, the greater will be their material rewards in this life, and the greater the glory they are bringing to God.
But all it is is an empty and dangerous facade.
Today’s Christians, who have replaced God with mammon, are idolaters before God.
For it is written, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."(Mat 6:33)
Are you in mortal danger of suffering from Gods retribution by following the golden calves of Jeroboam, or have you truly found the path to Gods righteousness, and His Kingdom, by having faith in the gospel of the water and the Spirit?
To understand the Gospel of the Water and the Spirit, it is essential that you start with the first three books in the series, and then carry on to the other books to reinforce your faith.
